The Promise of the Friends

It turned out that the found bird was a lapwing whose name is Maja. Maja got lost when her flock flew off to warm countries. In fright, she looked for her family and friends in the whole neighbourhood until she realized that she had to manage on her own that winter.
'Luckily, you have found me?, she smiled as lovely as she could to Pufa and Fufa and then to the rest of friends.
'Your parents must be worrying about you?, said Fifi. 'I know something about this, because once I got lost myself. But don?t worry. We will help you to survive the winter, and in the spring we?ll set off to meet your parents.?
'I saw a lot of birds that froze to death or starved during this winter. Do you think I have a chance to survive?? asked Maja.
'Of course?, Fifi said reassuringly. 'You are safe with us! We will take care of you and the rest of birds. We promise!?
