Whose Tracks are These?
‘Who would think that school ![]()
may be so cool!’ said Fifi to Maurice, who she went with to pick some acorns. They were going to use them in the classes the next day.
‘If it weren’t for the maths, it would be even cooler’, moaned Maurice.
‘But you don’t have any problems with the physical education’, Fifi comforted him. ‘Think about the Anteater!’
They began to laugh so loudly that squirrels started to look out of their hollows.
‘Look’, Maurice stopped Fifi. ‘Can you see these tracks? They are kind of strange. I haven’t seen such ones before.’
‘Me either’, thought Fifi. ‘Who might they belong to?’
‘I have an idea’, Maurice started to look something for in his pocket. He finally took out a piece of paper and a pencil, and he began to copy the tracks. ‘Tomorrow we are showing them to mistress Tekla’, he explained. ‘Perhaps she will be able to solve the riddle.’
